Last year Walker was born 3 days after Easter, so this was actually his first Easter. We actually missed church that morning and spent the morning getting bloodwork at the hospital instead. Walker had a high fever the day before (we're talking 104) and it stayed down during the night but when we woke him up that morning it was back to 104. We called our pediatrician and they told us to get to the hospital and get bloodwork done and he would stop by after church and read his labs. So we did, and he did and all was fine. Apparently Walker had a virus of some kind and it was a doozy. He missed school all week and it took him about 2 weeks to get completely back to normal. But later in the day, after a good nap, he did feel like going through his things that the Easter Bunny left. We did enjoy a lazy day at home for Easter and that was nice.
